Beta Phi members recently involved in a career speed mentoring event at
the home of Lorna Auerbach, LASM Alumni Club Vice President of Philanthropy, purchased
new books for each child in the Hollygrove literacy program to begin a personal
home library. Participants placed bookplates in each piece of donated literature
so the children have some connection with the person helping them. Active sorority
members representing local universities including UCLA, USC, LMU and Pepperdine
will be building personalized bookcases to go along with the donated books.
